In response to a request for suggestions for minor improvement works, I contacted the council suggesting a dropped kerb at this location and received the following response:

"Following an inspection of the cycle path access at Dalmarnock Bridge, Land & Environmental Services do not feel that a drop kerb is necessary at this location and therefore will not be providing one at this time."
